Can’t believe it’s hockey season again. This year has flew by. So if BT doesn’t make a trade I can only see a bridge deal.

Thinking about Tkachuk’s contract. What about three years at $20.25M? $6.75M AAV (same as Gaudreau and Giordano). $5.5M in 19-20, $5.5M in 20-21, $9.25M in 21-22 (which means $9.25M QO in 22-23). Who says no?

I’m cautiously optimistic. I really want mang and Dube in the lineup this year. Frolik really needs to go.

He and Johnny would be up at the same time, sounds pretty much ideal from the Flames standpoint.

Why does Frolik need to go? The Flames don’t have much depth on the right side. He makes too much money but he provides quality minutes for the team.

So with Boeser signed at 5.9, on a bridge, Chucky for 7 ish makes sense. Maybe they won't have to get rid of someone after all.

Talbot certainly looked pretty bad, but it's also the first game of the preseason. Not panicking yet.

I’m not fond of having Stone as our 5/6 D if that happens. I just don’t see him being able to keep up...
